   Dear KWPA friends

   I would like to invite you to a musical event at your local public library called “The Music of John Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath – Songs of Woody Guthrie” which I will be performing Monday, February 6th at the Oak Harbor Library from 3:00 to 4:00 with a second performance at the Coupeville Library (also on Feb 6th) from 5:30 to 6:30 as part of their “Music in the Stacks” series.

   I hope to meet you there!

   Hello KWPA,
   I attended your presentation at the Oak Harbor library a couple of weeks back and enjoyed it. It also made me think about having my eighth-grade Language Arts class write a mystery radio show; but I could use your help. Would you be interested in coming into my class and explaining what makes a great radio show, what you use for sound effects, and any other tricks you may have? I think that this is a project that the kids would really jump into! Let me know what you think!
