Rev. Kit Ketcham Rev. Kit Ketcham The State of Washington is on the verge of the historic extension of the right of marriage to same sex couples. This comes after decades of hard work and advocacy born in the civil rights movement in the sixties. Kathy Baxter was joined by Rev. Kit Ketcham who serves Whidbey’s Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Freeland. Rev. Ketcham talked about her own journey of advocacy for the civil rights of sexual minorities, and how her congregation is approaching this historic decision. They talked about the opportunities, the healing and the celebration that can come with acceptance of these sacred relationships in the eyes of the State.
