Hey Tom,
I am putting together a ‘Green Friday’ After Thanksgiving workshop honoring the native traditions where people can build Native American Flutes, Drums, Rattles, Baskets, journals and learn to play Native Flutes and Didgeridoos along with a concert of Indigenous music on Friday Night. I would love to do a 1/2 hour broadcast playing my music and talking about the workshop to be held at Whidbey Institute. I can bring over other World flute and drum guests as well. One friend has an archive of amazing native stories and has been labled Musical Ambassador in is indeed a cultural story teller. Check out my website for more infor on the workshop and concert.

Tom,
I talked with WIlliam yesterday and want to get in touch with you regarding reporting for a weekly program on the station. How do I get in touch with you?

How about broadcasting Coupeville High School sports?
The fellow who runs the coffee shop on the pier told me to contact Tom Laurenson about my idea for programming. I would like to have an “old time radio show” using tapes that are public domain. Shows are 15 min. serials like “Capt. Midnight, Jack Armstrong, Sky King, etc.” Also 30 min. shows like “One Man’s Family, Lights Out, misteries, etc.” Then expand into producing shows using the script readers group on the south end to recreate Orsen Wells theater players to do shows like “War of The Worlds” etc. With the large elder population that is on the island, I would think that it would realy be a hit for such programming.
Please reply. Thank you.

Mission: Encapsulate in programming the cultural, multi generational, arts and entertainment opportunities on Whidbey Island in a broadcast medium accessible to everyone in multiple audio mediums by creating a truly community based radio station.
When will this all take place
I love your station and wonder if a Blues Show or Psychedelic Years Show would be a possibility. I currently am music director at KSQM in Sequim but looking to locate to Whidbey around December. Keep up the great programing!
Steve
Hello,
I would like to know how I can become a dj at your station. I have an idea for a program that encompasses all styles of music and all eras. I am very knowledgeable in music history as music has been my life. My idea is to provide excellent music from all around the world and to explain the details regarding the music’s origins, musicians, studios, etc. and how they tie in together.
Please let me know what you need from me. I live in Langley.
Thanks,
Greg.
