Thanks to a grant from Swil Kanim’s Honorworks Foundation and anonymous donors, the Penn Cove Water Festival will feature the following performances in downtown Coupeville during the Water Festival:
11:00am – Festival Welcome – Main Stage
11:30am – Drum demo by Lou Labombard – Main Stage
11:40am – Rosie James – Oral History – Main Stage
12:00 – Festival Welcome – Canoe Launch (Mayor Nancy Conard & Penn Cove Water Festival President Lisa Haas)
12:30 – Peter Ali – Main Stage – Flute and much more
1:15pm – The Shifty Sailors, Sea Shanties and Maritime Music – Main Stage
2:00pm – Swil Kanim – Main Stage – Native violin player & storyteller
3:00pm – Rosie James – Oral History – Block House
3:20pm – Storytelling by Lou Labombard – Block House
4:00pm – Tshimshain Haayuuk Dancers – Main Stage – Traditional and ceremonial dances involving you, the audience

The Bead Man, Russell Morton, will be displaying his Four Seasons of Water, a beading project he’s completed after 6 years of beading.
In-between performers, we’ll hear updates about the canoe races, festival history, the art show, and opportunities to purchase CD’s and meet the many talented musicians that are a part of this festival!
